Light Bulb Birds

Spring reminds me of these cute little birds we made

Last summer I came across Crafts by Amanda and her Decoupage Light Bulb Birds. They are adorable and I have tons of light bulbs left over from when we switched ours all out with energy efficient ones. Miss C was about 2.5 at the time and she was able to do this project with little help from me. The little birds we made now hang in our art studio where we can enjoy looking at them everyday!
Egg cartons work perfect for holding light bulbs in place for decoupage
Polymer clay for the beaks, you may have to condition it for your child
Gluing on googly eyes
In the lap of a stuffed animal is a nice spot to let them dry!
